What is a good behaviour license?

Once a suspension is issued for breaching of a good behaviour license, that cannot be appealed.

However, you can challenge the charge that gives rise to a breach of a good behaviour license, if circumstances warrant this.

What should I do if I choose to challenge the charge?

If issued with a penalty notice, do not pay the fine, and elect to have the matter heard at court.

You will not have breached your good behaviour license if you are not convicted any offence. See the relevant sections of this website for further information on applicable charges (EG. Speeding, traversing a red light, using a mobile camera etc)

In the case of a Court Attendance Notice being issued, court attendance is mandatory.
